Yesterday presented by the Bristol County Chorus
The Bristol County Chorus (BCC) is a diverse, non-auditioned group of individuals that love to sing! Mrs. Joan Roth of Bristol, started this community chorus in 1981. Her goal has always been to inspire others to become a better musician, singer, teacher and human. Today, 43 years later, we are under the direction of Nicholas Rocha!
Nick is a great choral conductor, amazing keyboardist, and rich tenor voice who leads us with his years of experience. Nick holds a B.A. in music from Vassar College, and earned a Master's of Music in choral conducting from the Boston Conservatory in 2017.
We hope to continue to bring joy to the East Bay community by presenting a quality choral concert twice a year.
We are very excited to offer 2 seperate opportunities to see and hear our Spring concert this year! We, as a group of music lovers, hope to pass that on to the next generation by paying it forward in the form of a Scholarship program.
At the afternoon performance at the First Congregational Church, we will be presenting the 3rd annual Joan Roth Music Scholarship to one deserving, graduating senior that will be pursuing an education in music in some facet! We hope you can join us for this special afternoon of music and celebration.
Thank you for your generosity and support! Gratefully yours, BCC
